I really don't care about what other people have to say about Darude. I thought sandstorm was a major tune. This song has some really cool stuff in it, definitely that part at the 24 second mark, and the melody is nice too. I think it could stand to be remixed by the like of Armin, Ferry, or Ronksi Speed.
check out the video at http://home.online.no/~f-losvik/index.cfm
by the way he is a comercial artist that have talent so dont bash him like that.
i dont know
but i like this track
and i liked sandstorm a lot when i was a newbie
hahaa
i like tiesto
by the way the site doesnt have the video anymore.
still check it out for updates every week. A lot of new trance videos there.
both the original and the Bostik mixes are cool
i am also guilty of liking sandstorm when i was a noob. the mix with children used to be my song way back when
late
dreamer
He also has another tune:
Darude - Next to You
Check it out.
yeah.. old news. music os good stuff, the original is the better IMO. If youre a Dj you can do cool shit with bandpass on the buildup part.. 'Next to you' sucks tho. And yes, Sandstorm mwas massive until he released a Cd full of sandstorm remixes
I wished Darude had used the intruments he used in sandstorm for music, but then I guess he wanted a different style.........
++++++++
it's ok

2 Weeks ago I heard this tune on the radio.. I was like damm this tune is great, must be because of the WMC week or something. But no, it was Darude - Music.. I heard it again yesterday, went to look for it, and I was surprised that it was Darude, really a great, catchy tune... really, no Joke!
who cares...darude just had a fluke with his sandstorm song...every song after that sounded like it cuz he cant think of nothin else...i bet his new track he gonna have pretty much same patterns and synths as sandstorm...
darude ruined his name with his antics following his 'sandstorm success'.. He should start producing under a different name to wipe away the anti-sentiment people have for him before even listening to his tracks (which is justified in my opinion)

I dont like Music, but I got Next To You on mp3 3 weeks ago, and I am VERY impressed.
The original mix has a proggy feel to it, no riff and a nice groove, my fav out of the 2 mixes.
The extended is more trancey, more vox, and stabs that form the melody, not AS nice, but decent.
Both are going into my 'Guide to Summer 2003' mixes
