IM SO EXCITED FOR PERTH NOW!!!
PvD opened his set with "Nothing but You"
he played Hyrdra - Affinity somewhere in there, but the others i dont remember

gawd. WHAT a set. PvD spun his vinyls relatively fast, melodic at both ends and banging in the middle. He had my attention from go to whoa, and also had me holding my head in disbelief at various points.
Tracks I remember:
PvD - Nothing But You
Nu-NRG - Butterfly
Hydra - Affinity (Thrillseekers Dub)
Circ - Destroy She Said (De Donatis Remix)
This fully ROCKED!
Armin van Buuren - Sunburn (Jamie Anderson Remix)
Dark Monks - Insane (Steve Murano Dub) -- way better than I thought it would be...
PvD vs Marco V - For A Revolt
Kyau vs Albert - Velvet Morning -- OH MY GOD. Blew my mind.
Solid Sleep - Club Attack (PvD Remix)
Blackeight - The Silence (PvD Edit)
Michelle Nicol - Time
and WAAAAAAAAAYYYY more that I just didn't recognise
Fkn amazing set. Simple as that. Cheers to all I saw there (a bit of Push - Strangis World was quite nice at the end there. And Paul West is NOT a morning set DJ). Bedtime.

wow, i have to admit that was a brillent 3 hours
i don't think i will come across someone who has something negitive about the set.
So, we seen from the start where paul's political interests lie with his shirt stating "no war"
so down to the music and it was banging from the word go, a very nice track selection indeed, for people who doubted van dyk and there are a few around, this set just puts them back in there place
can someone say sardine?
anyone?
at one stage i thought my internal organs were going to come through my mouth because we were all so closely together
i dont think i've ever been that close with so many people before it was ludacris seriously.
A big shout out to the regular Ta's and the new ones which i met for the first time, arkhan and another shit i forgot ur name sorry
Also to helen and cameron for coming down to share this great night with us
I was going to throw my shoe at 3 girls standing next to me when scott alert was playing with there random yelling of "GO SCOTTY" and "SCOTTY OVER HERE" oh how could i forget "WE WILL LEAVE WHEN SCOTTY IS OVER"
and to my delight i found a pic of them
they are the culprits
there was also some gurner who thought scott alert was paul van dyk, i laughed for the first 30 seconds and then thought this is tragic
oh yes i did get a surprise when i saw phil, i was like WTF are u doing here, thanks to paul and whoever else knew he was coming
hahah on the topic of paul "Jolz have i told you how much i love you and phil.... oh and duncan" me: "no, no you haven't" paul: "i love you guys"
HAHAHAH
and we managed to see about 3-4 tracks of steve's aswell... once again nice one brutha
helen: a pic of u is on ITM
i hope he plays tic toc tonight!
(nice finger)
and his shirt is awsome
Haha, he has a whole collection of those anti-war t-shirts!!
ADELAIDE : "Stop The War"
MELBOURNE : "Stop War"
hehe, lets see whats next!

well i initially thought i couldn't afford to go to this but in the end some things changed and at 8pm i decided i'm going so i bought my ticket at chaddy
i have to say if i didn't go i would have regretted it hehe.
got in a bit after 12, suprised jolz
, hung around a bit to take it all in then headed down the front and said hi to everyone for the start of mark james.
i really enjoyed that, finishing off with h&h remix of yet another day, which brought back memories of my lost backpack argh
also played theme from supakane and some remix of greece 2000, it was a good set i thought.
next up was scott alert i think, from hard kandy. i thought he was surprisingly good, and was a crowd favourite with all the kandy kids coming up to see him and squishing us all in. i tell you what, if you were claustrophobic or afraid of big crowds, you did NOT want to be at qbh last night!! farrk it was insane! no room at all!
scott played some alright stuff, i wasn't that into it but a lot of people around me were, as they kept on yelling "go scotty!!!!!" hehe it was funny. then when he played 'magic impulse - exposure' i went nuts, and it was my turn to yell out 'go scotty!!' hahaha much to jolene's embarrassment, i also yelled out 'finally a good track!' haha i wonder if he heard me
i was going off to that track but just about nobody else was hehe. a couple of times the crowd did go off, it must have been a hard kandy anthem or something. he played 'rui de silva - touch me' which was nice too, but i was at the bar at the time and couldn't enjoy it properly.
then paul "i'm a hippy" van dyk popped his head around, sporting the "no war" t-shirt and peace gestures, and we all cheered and seeing as i was enjoying scott alert i restrained myself from telling him to fuck off and we want paul van dyk, so there were no 2 tribes antics from he hehehe
so he started off with 'nothing but you', and with the exception of a couple of tracks didn't really let me down, it was great stuff, harder than armin but not really cheesy nrg style. no problems with equipment unlike adelaide, and no real trainwrecks or bad mixes too. it was just really good, a lot of energy. he jumped and danced around a fair bit, pumping the air, but didn't really interact with the crowd, just a few smiles and stuff for photos. at least he was moving around though. after the debacle of 2 tribes i wasn't gonna bring a backpack or anything so i just had 2 covers in my pocket to get autographed, and pvd came down after his set to sign stuff and get photos taken, duncan was closer so he took my stuff and thanks to him i have my politics of dancing and out there and back album covers signed, cheers mate!
i think waxology was filming it too so there might be some video of the dyk in action. i introduced myself to someone who i assumed was miss vandit, if it wasn't then sorry! after pvd finished we made our way upstairs for the last couple of tracks from steve, lol, when he was trying to mix into or out of solarcoaster i think the next dj accidently knocked the set up, which is hanging from the roof, and the record skipped and farrrk u should have seen the look on steves face lol!!! that was a glare if i ever saw one.
so yeah it was a good night and im glad i decided to go
one of my autographs:
the disk with the other one on it is stuffed so i cant see it
can't be stuffed putting in tracklisting because they are all in other threads anyway
