What do you guys think of these two samples from my latest set ?

What feelings if any do u get when u hear them ?

lol! that's what you call HARD Epic/Cyber Trance and Nu NRG, these genres can be played anywhere from 140bpm to 170bpm

2 dj_Psygnosis, good mixing work, in your second sample, the track is just a plain CHEESE, loose vocal trance whenever you can, or if vocals must be, pick out something with an upbeat progressive sound ie. Iio-the end or rapture, Conjure One - Tears From The Moon(Tiesto Rmx), Conjure One -- Sleep(Ian Van Dahl Rmx), Perpetual Dreamer -- Sound of Goodbye, these tracks have lots of vocal in them, but the female voice is sort of deep yet very sexy, and the constantly moving rhythmic melody makes up for having vocals in the track.

your first sample has pretty good hard epic trance, but you just need to pitch down just about 3-5bpm and the music will sound richer and clearer. I am guessing you were somewhere around 150-155bpm?

WTF is that ?

i mixed them on technics and a pioneer 500 mixer. I messed with my techincs pitch thing internally (the blue thing u can screw) as i play fast

do the last guy above its my mixes, not psygonisis

I was wondering how you got them going so fast, at first i figured you most have been using CD players with massive pitch control. I would never change the speed on my technics to make all my trance sound like happy hardcore .

PS - No offence on you track selection (or speed more like it), it's just not my thing.

he he its cool, it seems everyone doesnt like the speed thing. I like it, ah well i guess i just gotta slow it down a bit, i dunno though it sounds flat unless it has the speed,
