what are the signs of pink eye

ew i think i have it- but its not like itchy, just a little red (since yesterday). anyone know how to tell if it is?

apparently it would really be bothering you a lot. is it just red? the entire eye? could be allergies, or popped capilaries or whatever those blood vessels are in the eyes, maybe you sneezed too hard and they popped. who knows....but if it bothers you physically, then check it out, for now Visine drops will do i think.

i had pink eye once when i was little...

the main thing to do, is look up with your eye, and then pull down the eyelid on the bottom. pink eye makes it so your eye is VERY VERY pissed off, red, and veiny there... eventually itll spread to other parts of your eye. most importantly, if you think you have pink eye, DONT TOUCH THE EYE AND THEN THE NON INFECTED ONE. then itll spread.

if you do have it, in a day or two youll really know. you will wake up and your eyes will seem crusted shut (sounds gross, but thats the part i remember the most). plus yea, insane itching, and they will look very swollen and you wont be able to open them much.

thats when its BAD. if you think you have it and dont want it to get to that point, go to a doctor. trust me. you dont want what itll feel like once its full blown.

visine is evil actually. all it does is constrict your blood vessels for a few minutes. after it wears off, maybe 30min max, they'll be redder than before. try straight lubricant drops. something that says natural tears.

as per the pink eye, you'll know in the morning, just don't rub it and if it keeps bothering go do the doc. all they give you is antibiotic eye drops, so you might as well get em.
