Scott Bond Vs Solarstone - 3rd Earth
One of the top 5 tunes of 2003 so far.
Hammered by Armin and others, fantastic tune with haunting 'vocals'
Love it!

Dont like the tune anymore. It gets bored after a while...
When will it be realease??
It may never get a full release but the promo is out and has been ripped.

i heard they are having trouble clearing a sample, so yeah, it may not get released
I have just bought this on vinyl, but it appears to be shorter than the mp3 which has been circulating on the hub..
The version on the hub that I have is 11:27 long, but I have just ripped my own copy from vinyl and found that it is roughly 8:48 in duration.. Any clues here?
Thanks people,
The rip on the hub was not a pukka rip.
Latest one is about the 8:48 you suggest

hmm...maybe...except of that "the journey" is too cheesy if u ain't in a trance...and that's not everyday i am either....
but this one really gets me tranced! only problem is the repetation in the tune...it may get boring in the future...so i guess it'll be forgotten by most ppl.
isn't there already about 20 other threads about this

i love the track, nice vocals.. :thumbsup
Where to buy?
Yes.. but any idea on where this promo can be purchased?
whatever happened to pure instrumental trance?? It seems all these great artists (tiesto and AVB, Ferry, PVD included) have this desire to put vocals in all their new productions and I don't like it.
Vocals are good in a track like In My Memory or U Shine but the majority of trance tunes should be non vocal. Of course, this is my opinion (and I'm sure some of you share it) but I long for the days of pure instrumental tracks like Open Your Eyes (original), Viola remix by Armin, Voyage by Yahel, etc etc.
I guess that's why I can't wait for My Religion and Avalon.

But it's not the best one on there. GREAT vocal tracks are rare in my opinion and Dj's should only remix or produce a vocal track if it's going to be phenomenal. It seems as if they all put vocals in tracks now, just for the hell of it. And most of it just ain't trance! I guess Tiesto and the rest are maturing, but part of the appeal of trance for me was the melodies and bass and unique uplifting sounds. Trance doesn't NEED vocals...it's already genius without them! |
