Jean Claude Van Damme

Anybody here a fan? I love em'. I think he's very underated. He's probaly one of the hardest working men in hollywood. After all the movies he's done....20...maybe 25....he's working on five more!

*The Monk
*HELL
*GadFly
*After Death
*The Tower

My all time favorite will always be "BloodSport", but "The Quest" is very special too...he starred in it, directed it, and co-wrote it withy Frank Dux (the guy he portrayed in BloodSport!)

With some luck maybe we'll see him in US theaters again sometime in the future.

Van Damme seems to have a lot of duds in the work he produces

if memory served he was stuntman who played the predator .. and that movie ruled so i guess ill give credit there

Universal Soldier, as others have mentioned, is beyond doubt his crowning achievement

Van Dammed? Didn't he go out in the early 90's? I take it he is like the Brad Pitt in "Fight Club"...?

I used to be a very big fan of Van Damme. I enjoyed most of his movies Lionheart, Double Impact (where he played two roles), Hard Target was ill, Bloodsport is a classic, TimeCop is my favorite movie, and many others that I can't remember right now... He is one of the greatest action stars of all time. To bad he faded from the limelight. Hopefully he will once again return to the silver screen here in the U.S.

originally he played the predator, but he was to small, so they hired a large black guy instead.

personally i havent seen that many Van Damme movies, but it seems if he stopped doing drugs, beating women and hiring hookers he could be more popular|

tell me, how do you kick a movie in the head?

I think he's lame. Doesn't compare to other martial arts actors. On par with Billy Blanks and Chuck Norris.

Bloodsport was mad wikked though, I'll give you that!

haha, what he said

and to add to your quote, "Randalll, Randalll, Randalll, you were going to leave without saying goodbye..?!"; omg that guy makes the movie soo good and funny

anyways yeah, VanDamme is good for exactly that, cheesy fun, best movie: double impact, cause it was the funniest, dont see the big deal with bloodsport, had has very corny martial arts

the only martial artist actor i really respect right now is Jet Li, no one else is worthy of anything more than cheesy praise
