im not to sure what that is. The problem is that when i want to save the file, it says save as audio format file, but i want to save it as an mp3. I used to be able to do this. There must be a setting or something somewhere. Otherwise, is there a program that converts audio files to mp3 files??

This is Music Discussion

Not the Chill Out Room or FAQ section...

yeah, but i need to know this to listen to my music and most people look at this forum, so more ppl are likely to know!

Lots of people check out the Chill Out Room and FAQ too. It's not like you can't live without music. You probably won't die if you don't have your answer within 5 minutes or so. Eventually this thread will be moved anyway. I understand why you post it here, but the Music Discussion is not meant for posts like this

bah...

see here... dowload the file...

now if u're using a windows environment... open up explorer and either Tool -> folder options or View -> options

and then in the view tab select the view filename extensions for known file types...

then when u see ur file it should be xxx.wav

rename to xxx.mp3...

if u dont have windows environment...

go into ur shell... and simply rename to mp3...

hope that helped...

other wise u can find me at http://davinci.newcs.uwindsor.ca/~c...scussframe.html under the name neo... dont advertise tho...

the user name is cs141 and password is recursion....

cheers!!!
