Championship Manager 4

Has anyone got it yet?

I've had mixed reviews from my mates, some say its better than CM3 some say it isn't and is too slow. Just wonderrrred if anyone here had it and could shed some light on the debate?

crashes so much.. but it's damn fun when it runs.....

it's only slow if you try to play with a lot of leagues on full detail.. otherwise i don't think it's much slower than precious editions...

I have 2 complains .. It's way too slow than previous versions and players get injured way too often !! I think they tried to make it realistic but i could never play with a regular 11 in whole season with Inter.. my friends are complaining about the same thing too..i hope there will be a patch to fix this ...

The game is NOT to slow!!! The specs to run the game have become higher, but IF you meet those specs there's no problem at all

But the players get a little injured pretty easy, thet's true

But still, the game rocks

Download the latest update (EP2) from sigames.com, and it will fix the injury problem..

I love the game, i've played through one season and won the treble with juventus

no it doesnt fix the injury problem

EP2 is an interim patch which contains the following fixes and refinements:-

Argentinian League now updates correctly after first season
Danish league no longer becomes inactive after a season
Swiss Playoff bug fix for when only top division is enabled.
Croatian Cup fix for when only top division is enabled.
FIFA Confederations Cup dates are now correct.
Fixed European Cup qualifying news incorrectly indicating you'd been knocked out when you'd qualified
Fixed crash where players are called up to a non existant U23 team.
Fixed incompatibility between mac & pc versions causing different match results
Fixed crash coming back from tactics screen pressing space bar more than once (dialog showing).
MLS Ground Maintainance reduced
Monthly installment payments now get paid to the correct team.
CPU Player wage bug fixed
Loaning promising youngsters made easier
Value of non-old firm players in Scotland lowered
Player screen now remembers its section when moving between player screens
Sudden drop in player morale after winning cup fixed

Sigames:
Injuries time string rounded to nearest and not always upwards.
Injury lengths adjusted.

Anyway, I had a lot of problems with injuries, but when i updated it, it worked fine

Yes the first one fixes the injury problem i think.. but the game still has too many bugs i think everything is going to be fixed on EP10 or something

yes

Check the one where u have commentary etc (on the bottom of matchday)_and i think theres one for commentary only ? try that

Apart from the bugs I do think it's gonna be a good game, maybe a few more updates, but the playing staff are as accurate as I've seen yet, and it is fun to play
