jpg files and all that crap...

rite...got my pics scanned in..but i cant save em as jpg..only tif or bmp..which is obviously annoying cos to send each fiel (of which there r 6) takes about 47mins each ffs!!!!! i cant copy em and save em paint either cos its not having it...and for sum reason its being weird when i try to send em as attachment via email...wot can i do??!somebody help cos i know naff all about computers and most of u do...i wanna show u these pics cos theres sum nice ones

Save as bmp then open the files in ms paint & save as jpg, works for me, a friend of mine wanted jpgs so she sent me loads of pics for ages each one, and i sent them back in seconds once converted

wkd thankx ill try that in a sec...thing is i dont think its ms paint..its windows 98 but it was a time computer and the pr0grammes on it are lotus...ill have a go anyway thanku mwa xxx

I've had pc's for a good 12 years now, since the dinosaur ones of the early 90s, and I've ruined loads, messed them up, done things to break them that you never suspected possible.. I can run most things ok now, but i've never been arty, so the paint etc dont interest me, I can use photoshop, just lol

Photoshop is a program, quite advanced, got it with my digital camera, and u can save as hundreds of file types. i'll have a quick look for a bmp to jpg converter program on cnet, and post back in a sec

Yeah babe, Tiff and BMP files are pretty huge...
Too huge for sending in emails and uploading on the web for the most part...
Especially if you have less than broadband, but even with it...

why thanku i feel so much more complete now...i cant stop sendin stuff thru msn just cos i can and my pics form gc 29th r now in the thread bonus! you too have been assisted my american chum
