Sander K Review

I thought I didn't have it in me after friday night. Well I arrived to arc around 4am to hear hard house pumping through the phazon. Sander killed us!.

Tracks

Some OLD ass song from Club USA with cool vocals new remix
Anticipation !!!!!!!!!!! Sick song
Didnt play clocks

He got boring at times but mostly was hitting us with hard energy all night long. Around 5 am he droped this amazing track that sasha played at Ultra. It sounds like a jungle in the background. Me michelle and our freinds left around 7:30 b/c I had to be at work at 11. Im actually on my way out to work right now. Ill post alot more id's later. Michelle is a progressive dj so she knew like 1/2 of what he was playing, I was clueless of course.

d00d! first of all John, I NEED to know more about Michelle. She is too cool. a Prog DJ? I had no idea...

Anyway, about Sander. The beats were HARDCORE at times, to the extent of crazy reverb and distortion. At other times the floor was shaking. But then he would go all mellow. To my dismay, I didn't know shit. I heard MY LEXICON which rocked my world and WAVY GRAVY. I left at 8:22 and missed P. Diddy - Let's Get Ill, which was played at 8:30. I am still kicking myself. I got teased with Buenos Aires...but never heard the actual track unless it was when I was freezing my ass off having a cigarette or in another realm. Both are possible.

BARELY any TAs were present. Big hugs to those who were: leitline, tranceyguynyc, amdmaxx, pyro. Damn, is that it?? JERSEY BOBBY was out but no JUMPING BEAN! I am all over the place here. No sleep yet.

The crowd was top notch as far as I am concerned. It was a teeny bit too packed a couple times and I didn't have enough dancing space, but other than that everyone was so chill. It was a good time, for sure. Not really my style, but I was feeling it. I was craving some trance by the end, I admit, but I was still impressed by Sander's set. I can't say the mixing was flawless or that there was a progression to the set. He was really up and down a lot. But, once again, I am not into this stuff. Everyone in the place was dancing their asses off and smiling. That was enough to make it a good night.

I missed you guys...but it was great to meet some new people and see a couple familiar faces. Thanks to all of you who contributed to my enjoyable Saturday night.

Now ! better see you guys at Ferry!

P.S. JOHN IS A MACHINE! I want to give you an award man. Since I joined TA I have seen you at EVERY SINGLE party I have been to.

It may not be your thing, or my thing, but the boy has talent. He is a good DJ AND producer! You can't tell me you don't like Buenos Aires????

Sorry I couldn't make it guys. I need to be pretty close to dead before I miss a good party, and I was. I worked until 3am and I still planned on going, but then that daylight savings thing kicked in and I realized that I wouln't be in the club until 5. I was still awake from the Marco party. The 40 hours with no sleep + driving to the city alone idea didn't seem like a good plan.

sander = good to dance to, not so good to just chill and listen. crazy amounts of bass, phazon sounded nice. goddamn daylight savings time!
