BT is, and always has been the best electronic producer around.

i heard the junkie xl on local radio here. it was melodic and the vocals fit in nicely. overall it was very good

BT = Julliard (sp?)-trained... need I say more??? He is just amazing as a DJ and especially producer.

Posted by Rhythm on Apr-06-2003 23:07:

Yep, this is a pretty nice tune
BT was one of the first to introduce me to EDM, so I have mad respect for him.

BT studied music at Berkely California....

Jesus this track r0x. I was about to make a thread of this one yesterday.

The original is just amazing. Ive also heard the Burufunk Remix and that is some sick ass breaks. Both amazing. Different type of sounds. Burufunk sounds more like a BT prod than anything.

Anyways, cant wait for this to be released, definitly a vinyl i'll be getting.

Too add to this, BT's vocals are suprisingly very well done. Very nice vocals.

I'm almost positive that he had something to do with Julliard, but my bad if not. Still a fuckin amazing producer though!

Posted by raver31 on Apr-07-2003 00:45:

incredible producer but many dont support him anymore cuz of his tarnished reputation due to the fact he collaborated with pop stars. all of u know that probably already. ahh fuck i dont care. if he can churn a shitload of good electronic underground productions then its all good.

your the first to bring that up lol noone can say they dont like a bt track.

where did u get that sig from? with the tits

and where can i get that cd from? or that track that u guys are talkinga bout?

I see absolutely no sign of BT's electronic productions going south since he produced a few tracks on the side for popstars.

He only "sold out" in the sence that elitests are no longer able to say that he's a true underground producer. To hell with them, BT continues to make great music that even these elitists will enjoy if they can get thier heads outta thier asses.

Somnambulist is a prime example of this! Many new exciting tweaks and blips surrounds this tune with a soulful edge.... nothin short of excellent!

American radio stations would eat this up if they would just play it.

Posted by sly on Apr-07-2003 01:34:

Anyone got a rip or have any idea when it will be releaesd?

Is the song the intro song on at btmusic.com ?

BTW, the intro image of BT looks like Brad Pit

Just for future reference, it's spelled "Juilliard". And as someone already said, he studied at Berkeley, which is electronic music's equivalent to Juilliard.

BT and Sasha are the two best producers out there in terms of the quality of production and the depth of their tunes. I believe I hold BT in slightly higher regard because he produces his own music entirely, whereas Sasha's music is always co-produced. I'm not saying Sasha doesn't put anything into his own tracks, because whenever I hear a Sasha tune, I know it's his. Anyways, I have yet to listen to this song. I can't wait to hear it! I'll post when I get my hands on it.

Posted by SYNthSRI on Apr-07-2003 03:25:

Listening to this track reminds me of 80's Michael Jackson -- don't ask me why, first thing that came to my mind, when I wanted to compare it with something.

Overall sounds GREAT!
Am addicted!!!!
can't wait till release

This song is amazing. I've had it on repeat for the last 40 minutes or so and love it more and more. I cannot wait for his new album.
