the 5am news.....

plenty happening for the gang, here's a quick update.

Reemo has been given a fortnightly gig on fridays at Temple @ Viper Room. They are finally making way for some up & coming talent. Catch him this Friday 11th April 4am - 6am. Zac Curran has also been put on rotation for Fridays.

Steve Strangis, Albert Mangler, and Charlie Zee have been put on rotation fortnightly Saturdays for Crystal @ Viper Room. Catch us this week, Saturday 12th April. Mangler 11am - 1pm, Strangis 2.30 - 4.00am, Zee 4am- 6am. Uplifting stylee.

Liquid M (Sydney) visit Melbourne on the 25th April. 100% live & original, and a couple of tracks with a female vocalist. They are building up a good following in Sydney. You can see them at;
Quench @ Spy Bar (Clarendon St, South Melb) Friday 25th April 11am - 9pm, a day party but not a recovery! along with Miss Mel, Steve Strangis, Charlie Zee, and Zac Curran.
Then 5am @ Room 680 starts at the early time of 9pm with Adam Holden, Albert Mangler, Liquid M, Reemo & Julian Reynolds, JulesPlees, and others.

5am & Altitude (sydney) are in talks on sharing resources and working towards building a close association... more to come

This one is going to be huge!!!

If anyone remembers Chicane (Live) in 2000 (Perfecto tour w/ oakey) then get ready for some more live stuff.

Liquid M have had some greaat reviews, and this should be exciting stuff.


Get all your friends to come along, and show them some *real* trance at 5am.

I'm sure I heard one of their tracks on Nova this morning while I was at work - the radio was down quite low and is on the other side of the office so I couldn't really hear it (and I wasn't really paying any attention to it), but I'm sure the announcer said it was by Liquid M...

Also heard Plummet - Damaged on Nova this afternoon; not sure which remix though

I'm going 2 b down as previously said, and i've been listening 2 Zac, urself and miss mel. I'm quite impressed by and am excited about hearing it all live.

In regards 2 5am productions and Altitude. WoW is about all i can really say. The idea of a REAL trance scene growing is a good idea, of growing it nationally is a great idea. As I've said in previous threads, I await the day when 5am Altitude (or whatever) is rival with the likes of Cream/Godskitchen. I know being realistic IF it happens it is years off, but with dedicated support and followers which you have on TA/ITM/T.nu from down under, there is hope.

ive still gotta get off my lazy ass and go to altitude, from other threads posted here, ive heard it will be on a friday night at gas. If this does eventuate i will definitely be a regualar as gas is one of my fave clubs ( bohem lounge is oh so seXy)

The 2nd of May @ G@S is the confirmed launch night for Altitude. The line up is still to be released but I've been assured it's going to be one of the best trance lineups Sydney's got
