i have lived in syracuse all my life, followed the team for as long as i can remember...

NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS!

way to put syracuse on the map, because there is NOTHING else here.

i think kansas is favored by 4 points...

but the city of syracuse is in mass hysteria over this. cheesy radio songs, huge celebrations on saturday night. i can't imagine what the city will be like tonight if they win, but maybe more afraid if they lose...

im happy for you, but b/c Kansas and Syracuse won i lost $45,.. i had expected Kansas to win, but not Syracuse, so sorry, but im a bit biased against them, we (UF) sure kicked their ass in Orange Bowl Jan.99 (i know thats a stretch but i had to make myself feel better somehow...)

well, I go to uconn so i would have loved to see UCONN vs SYRACUSE but since they didnt make it, i guess i'll have to cheer for the only big east conference still in it. i was really hopeing for a ALL BIG EAST FINAL FOUR.. wow.. that would have been crazy!... GO SYRACUSE.. i hope they become national champions so that we(uconn) can spank em next season

first half, syracuse on FIRE, never seen them play so good EVER
macnamara was an animal, anthony incredible...

second half, argh. ugh. yikes. it was soo painful.
macnamara didn't score once, never even touched the ball, anthony fell asleep. warrick and pace saved the game...

finally a championship...the 80s were so painful for me.

and i'll try not to post any more about this, but i am really so excited. kinda wish i journeyed out in the snow and went downtown, but i shared it with my lil sis instead.
