i have a bunch of his sets and they're all REALLY good .. i'm not a huge prog fan but i do listen to fair amount of it. his stuff was pretty banging that's all i can say .. !

so i'll let one of these other 'pros' above maybe ID it for ya !!

Posted by Crazy Serb on Apr-08-2003 01:16:

(come on out and experience Hernan live... that's all I gotta say... he's too good to miss!)

Posted by brunette on Apr-08-2003 02:05:

I'd say it's progressive house, but undeniably with a powerful twist.. all I can say is that it reminds me of those tribal beach parties at dawn
And check out South America CD2 for prep..

oooooh I am sooooooo ecstatic

I can only imagine... you going postal on that place (or Hernan)!

and yeah, you can thank me for that "In South America" CD recommendation in there...

Re: Details

South America CD2 is to me personally one of the best progressive sets i had ever heard... every time i hear it, it blows me away!

hernan's live sets are a bit different from his CDs... his sets are a lot harder, and i'm not too sure who i could compare him too... he incorporates a lot of bongos and drums in his track selection and you can easily notice the south american influence (with him being argentinian)...

this is one performance that should not be missed by any means!!

Agreed... and that 1st CD is even better (in my opinion)... the best $25 I've ever spent in my life!

CD1 is good too, dont get me wrong, but its more, umm, too tribal and dark for my taste... i like some melody in progressive, it's more entertaining

Hey, it's your taste... I don't like it too much, but I respect it (don't get me wrong either).

Posted by Kytracid on Apr-08-2003 04:45:

on Hernan?! I'm not a groupie

Oh, yeah, it was you who told me to check it out. Of course, you know I'm thankful [although, I hope you realize that I would have discovered it sooner or later]
