How do you record from one vcr to another

i'm trying to record a vhs to another vhs. you can tell i haven't done this before since i have been only burning cds. i of course know how to tape shows on tv but i don't know how to use two vcrs and tape a vhs to another vhs.

Buy a scart cable
Connect the vcr's with the cable
Set recording vcr on av-mode then press record
Press play on the other vid

plug scart cable into the scart out socket on the playing vcr and into the scart in on the recording vcr

U could do as the others suggested but i prefer the "Natural" way.

1. put the two VCRs on the bed in the guest bedroom.
2. pop in a Al Green greatest hits cd.
3. light some candles and dim the lights.
4. Close door
5. Come back next morning...

Oh yeah don't forget to include a well lubed scart cable.

"Scart cable" = same thing as the color coded A/V cable?? I just didn't know the proper name for it....

1. get another set of cables (the same ones that you use to connect your vcr to your tv.
2. with the new cables, connect one end of the cables from the vcr1 video/audio output to vcr2's video/audio input 2
3. switch the vcr 2 input menu to aux ot whichever the input 2 is at.
4.thats it. press record!
