Remembering the Time of Our Lives (State01)

It was AVB's Toronto debut, it was also one of the most intimate TA parties ever. Oh the nostalgia!

Yeah that definitely was ONE OF THE BEST parties I've ever attended and actually the only time I really enjoyed Armin's set !

although it was a wicked party and the vibe was amazing, it was all thanks to orkidea... i thought armin's set sucked! all he played was vocaly cheesy trance... but in his defence it was his first time around here i guess, so maybe he didn't know what to play...

all in all, great party...

Hm.. I must disagree.. All his later visits to Toronto have put me to sleep. That was the only time I ever really enjoyed his set.

i have the original flyer for Wintergalactic 1 .. Tiesto's first time here, the thing looks like some cheap black and white grocery store sale flyer !

best party ever. it was my birthday, i turned 19 at midnight. i got to meet orkidea. the music and the people were amazing, simply wonderful atmosphere. met arcticboy, a few of us stopped at mc.d's for breakfast on the way back to the hammer. man, fucking guy behind the counter wouldnt shut up....all we wanted was a bit of peace and quiet to let the night sink in. we think he was mildly retarded. we still get a laugh out of it.

hands down one of the best nights of my life.

State = perfect conditions for dancing to trance. Mid Armin set, I remember looking up and opening my eyes and seeing everyone around me just dancing hard to the beats. Just a massive sea of energy, yet to be duplicated, even in Ibiza.

State 01 ranks up high on my list of parties for sure. It was my first one in a long time and the chance to see Armin and Orkidea for the first time here. Both of them amazed me that night. It was also the last time I was able to see Armin in a more relaxed environment. Everytime after that he's come to the sardine tin we know as the Guvt. So I'm looking forward to seeing him at the KH for a change. Should be a bit better hopefully.
