I dont like vocal trance either, i can only name a few trance tracks where the vocals really make the track better:

I think vocal trance only works when it was originally intended by the (original) producer. Quite agree with the likes of Andian, its nice stuff but not for the commercial market.

What usually sounds rubbish, and I hate it more than anything, is when some record company sign a big instrumental track then decide to glue on some shitty vocal, often performed by some random slapper.

...And stuff like Scooter, Ian Van Dahl, Ultrabeat - please, it just aint worth talking about. Gives real trance a bad name.
