Behind the Decks with Dave Piazza has been cancelled because of some personal disputes I am having with the Party107 staff. As a result I am withdrawing my show from Pary107.com
The Party107 staff feel that I must censor my comments on TranceAddicts made to Markus Schulz and his groupies because they offend him and GDJB.
I will not restrict my personal freedom of speech and expression. I must be true to myself and my fans. I have made the choice to be an indpendent person not pulled around like a puppet by the Part107 and GDJB strings.
Thank you all for your support and hope to find a new internet home for Behind the Decks.
Good call. I never had the chance to tune into the show, but you stopped for the right reasons!

Sad that party 107 wants to limit what you can say on a board that is not their own. I also never listened, but i agree with idoru.
Unless theyre paying you (and they might be) they really have no right to limit what you post. But politics is politics and in the increasingly popular world of trance, its better to walk the party lane rather than ruffle any feathers.

Actually free speech has limits but I feel those limits were not crossed. Heck, what do you think the owners of ivibes.nu think of all my blunt opinions , if I had not put out nearly 260 articles in a year, I'd be the same thing as you dave.

I guess it goes to show how much power this site has in the world of trance and EDM.

and hell I have not been stopped yet with all my comments but I feel they will attempt to stop me, which won't work. I think that as long as you are not being racist, sexist or a downright bigot in your comments at a EDM deejay and you can reasonably back it up, then you should be allowed to say what you want.
btw habersham interview shortly

See if it was not for gimptards like party107 and others that have no vision, my work on ivibes.nu would not be what it is. I take the opposite of the popular view and run with it. I suggest that you do that Dave and develop a unique as heck style with unique as heck tracks and then you will go further than the armin clones.

I must have missed something, Dave. What kinds of things did you post?
If it is true that you weren't out of line with your comments, then I have lost respect for the people who tried to censor you, whoever those people may be.

This is the thread which I believe offended the Schulz Alliance.
that's the biggest pile of shit, I've seen since I took a dump last week. If a deejay is offended at that, then they should retire and move to a isolated island, so people won't offend them. Deejays are notorious for not getting hurt with criticism, well some of them. If someone told you that Markus was angry because of that, they are lying, I can't see that honest opinion hurting someone...hahaha...what a bunch of gimps. I know some of us do cross the line at times but seriously that was lame and I'd end ties with party107 forever over that.
