I just posted in another topic that I couldn't get Scatman out of my head this week.. Remember those days guys?? Groups like Reel 2 Real and Real McCoy? Did any of you ever listen to that stuff..

I guess what I wanna ask is, what songs did you like back then in popular dance music if you liked that stuff..

I dunno if this topic is gonna be successful but whatever!!

latez...

NO one better judge u for liking old stuff, what I've noticed is when you tell people you like a song, some will tell you they don't like it because it's old (even if it's like a month old!!!) I know this because I used to do it too sometimes.. but fuck that, good music is good music!!! Plus look at all the old songs that are being remixed, everyone's going back and listening to stuff they used to like.. like I said, it brings back memories...

I really like Ebeneezer Goode by The Shamen.

All of Prodigy's old stuff (Charly, Voodoo People etc).

Dreamer - Livin' Joy and Let Me Be Your Fantasy - Baby D. Also slightly more recent Loveshy - Kristine Blonde.

Every year when the summer begins i keep hearing songs like "los del rio - macarena" in my head... which is not a good thing ... I hate that song

I took a look at my old singles too by the way. I found stuff like:
2 bros. on the 4th floor - Dreams,
Dj Isaac - I wanna be a Gabba,
Charly Lownoise & Mental Theo - Wonderfull Days
Marusha - Over the rainbow
2 Unlimited - Faces
Pinochio - Pinochio

Damn these good old days, when the grass was still green and life less complicated . It does bring back some memories listening to these songs. Especially Pinochio ...

I went back and listened to some of the early 'rave music' that I used to listen to in college. Did anyone else have the "Rave 'til Dawn CD" I can't remember all the artists on there but I know there was a song by 2unlimited, Lords of Acid, and that Jump Motherfucker song whoever that was.

I see Swamper just posted the 2000 version of Welcome to Paradise by Front 242. I used to love that song!! Haven't heard the 2000 version though. I'll have to check it out.

Just remembered another on. Did anyone ever here Sesame's Treet by Smart E's? Rather amusing song. I still have the CD somewhere

Rave Til Dawn contains Stereo MCs - Connected doesn't it? I can't seem to figure out why I like that song so much...
