What's up with Radio Slave?

I find it interesting for an English DJ to play and produce such tribal/spanish influenced records. Sort of like Luciano or Ricardo.

Why is it any more interesting for an Englishman to do this than a German?

It's a fad, everyone's doing it independent of nationality, heritage, etc.

Neither are Ricardo or Luciano. By your reasoning, Radio Slave is only 1/2 English.

Why is this weird? Just because someone is of a different heritage doesn't mean that they can't or shouldn't produce music of a different national influence.

Although true, Radio Slave has been doing this for a bit longer than the summer
