I tried PCDJ and I must say that is not really great .. you can only choose the tracks you want to play .. change the pitch and scroll the volume from 1 "player" to another .. no equilizer and stuff like that .. and you always have to rescan your drive when you want the new track you just dloaded ... not the best one i'm sure .. someone talked to me about virtual turntables and said it was kinda good .. not the best tho .. but better than PCDJ ..

Virtual Turntables is by far and away, *the best* mp3 mixing program. If you only have one soundcard, you have to buy two adapters from Radio Shack for it to split the channels correctly...details at the site: www.carrotinnovations.com. Check the message board if you need support...the message board is very helpful! I have it hooked up to a Vestax PMC-06 mixer, and my mixes sound great!

Currently i'am testing the external mixer concept with VTT and i really like it! As webdesigning is one of my biggest hobby's, and also music is, i thougt it would be real kick-ass to build a DEDICATED VTT ONLINE MIX-site ... how bout that?

I know for sure there are alot of good digital dj's (i also turn the tables on vinyl), together with something like 10 of 15 people we can offer a good product.

This evening i'am going to start designing a web site for it, anyone who is interested in joining this group please mail me or place your reaction here.

A few little things:

- Be able to mix quality, only 4x4x4x4
- Don't only use the "standard" tracks, try new music
- The mixes have to be done only with VTT, no wave editor, be creative ...
- Anyone who joins this group will not be payed or anything, the only one thing you will get is respect and fun!
