I already complained about this stuff on RA...

why does this new undergound "trance" always have to be about ironically appropriating or somehow subverting supersaws? it's like making throwback rave tracks only based around the hoover sound. these tracks aren't badly written, but the choice of sounds just feels so cheap and easy to me. to me it feels like people don't actually have the balls to actually write serious, completely unironic trance and so they recycle old cheesy nostalgic WINK WINK sounds to appeal to the same demographic that thinks ironically using bad 90s webdesign in 2016 is the raddest thing ever.
to add to this, the biggest characteristic of trance, both in a bad and good way, has always been that it's completely corny and over-emotional music that people took/take completely seriously. releasing hyper-self-afware reconstructions of genre tropes on an experimental label completely misses the point of what this music was about.
This shits better than I thought if its triggering kids like woony.

This is me. I do it because I genuinely enjoy the more traditional types of trance, from the sounds to the mastering techniques. It just sounds good to me, so I make this style of music, nothing 'ironic' about it...
As for bad 90s graphics, there's something sort of appealing to it. It has its own gaudy charm.

- You're a shit producer, mate. All your presets are from the early nineties.
- No no, I'm just... uh... deconstructing the genre. Yeah, that's it!

But you actually like real supersaw eurotrance unironically. The people who fawn over this shit just like it when it's "deconstructed" and cleverly re-packaged for the post-everything demo.
This is like the weaning phase for 2016's clubbing cognoscenti, so the next time their favoured taste-maker drops Out Of The Blue at -6 they can safely fist-pump without worrying about getting unicorn shit up the side of their deliberately bad trousers.
If you enjoy any of these sets and want to hear me live, I'll be playing a 2 hour progressive trance set at Basing House in Shoreditch, London on 11th October.

this is pretty cutting edge mz. i see where you took the berlin shranz / minmal and used a little bit of Varese and some early Zenekis.
Sounds like the sort of D-side IDM wonks make for a chuckle.
