Im looking at the Stanton STR8-100's because of some advice... I found them for a decent price, are they good to get??
I did look at the Numark TTX-1's, very tempted to get them, but they are alittle pricey, I also looked at the TT-200's (which are more affordable), only thing is, which is better quality wise?

I bought some Stanton STR8-30 , i don't know about the 100 series, theyre probably better but the only problem i had with my one is the damn volume keeps dropping up and down..sometimes when i'm mixing the left channel dies out and comes back up again....overall its a good turntable but as people say get Technics.

i would post this on the DJ Booth forums if you have not already. I bet you would get a lot more replies. And to my knowledge, anything Technic is supposed to be high-quality (but i dont have any decks, so... )

The technics are the best but very pricey, they're worth it if you can afford them.

Thats the problem, I cant afford Tech's, if I could I wouldnt ask such a silly question But I need some quality decks to learn on and keep for future, either way. When I do get enough cash to get Tech's I intend to.

blame that on a bad cartridge or some shoddy cables.
not the table itself. check your cartridge connections. clean your needle.
dont bother buying them cheap...just get technics...why not save up and save yourself from wasting your money.

Agreed! If you talk to anyone who knows anything about dj'ing and equipment for that matter they will tell you the same! I suggest browsing the forums a little harder, if you do I am sure that you will see that most everyone is in agreement. Technics are the one and only way to go!

What do you put into your live sets that has made you a dancefloor favorite for the past decade?
"I’m a dance floor favorite? Great! I would say the passion that I feel for the music I buy and the honesty with how I play it. I play the records I love not the ones that simply work. I’ve never taken the easy music option (which would make me a lot more money by the way) but chosen to push people a little. I try to draw people in a new direction slightly and expand their taste a little more than other DJ’s." - Lee Burridge
