well first of all they aren't the SAME song. Xpander was released AT LEAST 2 years ago, although most likely longer since it was one of the first songs that got me into trance. They do sound remarkably similar tho but I cant say that Rank 1 ripped Sasha off. They have similar synths tho but I would argue they are different enough to give props to both, the structure is quite different. Rank 1s being more of a build up song while Sashas it more of a breakdown. Which do I like more, Xpander, not question. Sashas a genius...late/

Yeha... they do sound the same
but as biznology said- that just cuz they have similer synths, the structure of the tracks is likely different

I don't how anyone could think these 2 tracks sound anything remotely like each other. Personally I thought Airwave "Mysteries Of Life" was a rather poor track.

first off they are not the same song. XPander is a classic and can't be compared to any other song. XPander came out first and although Mysteries of Life sounds similar to XPander it is not the same trax.

I personally think Sasha is one of the best producers around... his work is SO wide ranged... on the Xpander EP theres 4 tunes... Xpander, Baja. Belfunk & Rabbitweed... all four are completely different style tracks made to the highest quality...

i respect producers that have wide variety in their work a lot more than a producer who only makes one kind of music thus me hating ferry corsten... grrr
