Idea

ok a previous thread inspired me too make this thread... it might fall flat on its face, you can never tell!
I just thought it would be nice too share ONE song not necessarily your favourite song, just one that has given you an unforgettable feeling or experience e.g. where did it take your mind? how did it make you feel? etc... ok for me it was a track called..

qattara - come with me (qattara vocal mix)

her voice just took me through all the elements it felt like i was floatin through space gazin at the moon... it gave me cold rushes up my spine and right through my head!
(i was not on drugs at the time) still today if i put track on in the car i still get slight cold rushes!

respect2all

My favourite is Art Of Trance "Madagasga" (Cygnus X Mix), but one I find really special to me is The Space Brothers "Shine". I remember the day I first heard it, I was only 15 at the time it was about April 97 I think, the sheer beauty of the instantly recognisable melody and the angelic vocals almost made me cry! The lyrics "You have the bravest heart I've ever known, you..., the soul of an angel, touched from above, the spirit is shining" finished it off to absolute perfection! "Forgiven" by the Space Brothers was a perfect follow up, almost the same, but for once, that was a very good thing I think!!!! The Space Brothers latest tunes have all been good, but none have ever matched the sheer brilliance of "Shine" and "Forgiven". Truly both one of dance music's finest moments, I hope they'll be remembered for years to come!

U.S.U.R.A. - Trance Emotions (DJ Quicksilver Mix)

My first time I took X, I was on a boat that was docked in the Hudson River. The sky was filled with stars and the moon was full. It was even glistening off the water. I was recieving a hand massage when that track came on. When she heard the uplifting part of that song, she gave me a big hug. Very emotional song. Best hug I ever had!

I download Sander Kleinenberg - Live at Impulz 2000 and put it straight onto mini disc without listening to it... i played it on my stereo that night and was just lieing there, thinking about life (i was tired and i like thinking about things while listening to trance) and then comes on Sander Kleinenberg - My Lexicon. I CANT GET OVER THIS SONG!!!.. the dreamy piano riffs at the start made me get the shivers all over and in came the baseline which rumbled my whole bedroom into oblivion!!!!.. It then goes into a pianoless breakdown of just the beats and bassline, and then just comes kicking back in the melodic sounds!!!!! It was just awesome to listen to and made me feel soooooo good!

just one of my little trance experiences

btw, mucka, good thread

Thumbs up My fave track ;)

OMG - My Lexicon is so good!! I absolutely love it as well! But my all time favourite is: Luzon - The Baguio Track (Original and Digweed/Muir Bedrock Mix). Sasha&Digweed played at Welcome 2001 in Melbourne. Digweed played the original and then mixed in the remix and it went for about 20 minutes and I might as well have been orbiting the planet, it was the best moment of my life without a doubt. I cry when I hear it sometimes...

This song brings me great memories.....

H.H.C. - We're Not Alone (Perfecto)
^^^^^^^^
By the way, the H.H.C. does not stand for happy hardcore...

This tune is found on Oakey's Fluoro Perfecto Album...
Just fantastic, awesome tune, IMO.

I'm glad I have 2 copies on 12"

I would have to say that the only time when I can get seriously emotional is when I hear a DJ live. There's nothing like watching a dj spin and hearing that pounding sound. Anyway, definetely one of the best trance songs that seriously made me get all emotional was when tiesto spun urban train at wintergalactic 2.

It was the first time I've ever heard that track and it definetely renewed my faith in trance and dutch trance especially. All my friends listen to hard house, breakz, hard trance, etc. and they always ask me why I listen to cheezy trance so much ... Now I know why. I don't think any other type of music can make u stop dancing and just breathe in the sounds.
