Nu Trance?
Ok ok i'm not a big categorie monger or anything but i noticed on a site i was looking at a track that would under all circumstances...well i guess most would be categorized as Electro house was labeled Nu trance,and no not a reference to Trance NU.But rather as the category.Is this just this site i looked at or is there some kind of movement i'm missing called "Nu Trance"?I'm thinking just the site was crazy.

Neo trance (nu, micro, whatever...) is an unofficial term for mnml/tech house tracks that sound very trancy (not like current boring epic trance, but like cool old classic trance). Some producers are doing it (neo trance) purposely, like Paul Kalkbrenner who said that he enjoys old Platipus sound and tries to incorporate that sound in his new productions, and some are doing it "accidentally" ie. The MFA - Overhang, Reinhard Voigt - Tranceformation...
All in all, the term is still unofficial (although there is THIS compilation with neo trance name on it, but some tracks are very doubtful), and some people are still calling this kind of stuff simply minimal or tech house

Well yeah, some tracks (Always Smt Better, Click, Darko) are just not trancy enough for that name. If that's neo trance, then you can call half of the new tech house production neo trance. I mean, compare for example Aril Brikha's Winter with that tracks and you'll see the difference
