We just finished a 3-city Mini Tour with J00F for www.submerge.in and it was just insane!
John, Pearl (Submerge, India) and I were in Bombay, Calcutta and Bangalore --- and the gigs were loaded with high energy and some MASSIVE tunes. I'm just amazed that he hasn't featured in the top 100 poll these past two years.
There's a rough video that I've edited together here:
It's badly lit in bits, but the vibe comes bursting through.. Feel free to ID tracks that you know (except for the crowd fav. Infected tune at the end, I don't know any)

cool video. It's so sad. I was in Bangalore for three weeks in december but never knew there was a club like that there
... wish we'd known; we would've taken care of you. Not just Bangalore, but all across India - there are some superb clubs and DJs that play out.

I was in Bombay too
lived not far from Victoria Station.
DJ Pearl threw down a superb opener ('rose rouge' and 'downpipe' really were large on the fuga floor) and J00F blew the roof off. Was a night where the live mixing skills on display were truly impressive.
While I cant always identify with the hard psyish trance that fleming excels at dishing out, there was clear evidence (flawless mixing and the tightest flow i've heard all year) pointing to why he's considered to be such a legend when compared to the mainstream trance jocks out there..
props to the submerge crew, was a quality night.

I was in Bangalore last year in October. I went to this pretty cool indoor/outdoor club on a Sunday night that was a fair drive from the middle of the city. Anyway, it closed at 11 and we were told this was because dancing was illegal or something? And that politicians and police had broken up parties in the past. Is this true?

its part of the tragedy that bangalore has some of the most passionate clubbers in all of Asia and yet has to put up with bullshit like 11.30 PM deadlines and police shutting down perfectly legitimate clubs and events because of what is seemingly a misinterpretation by the law enforcers of an archaic rule...
either way the city works around it... though im glad you had a good experience Tangil

It's a shame because it was a really cool venue, the dance floor was outside with these huge trees and stuff and the dj was playing some prog which was a good change up from all the psy I heard everywhere else.
