Thumbs up Melodic trance without long breaks?

Hi!

I'm looking for trance that is melodic but doesn't have those long (1, 2 or sometimes even 3(!) minutes) breaks in the middle of the track. I want it to be full on power from start to finish, and only short breaks in between, if any.

PLEASE RECOMMEND SONGS THAT FIT THIS DESCRIPTION :-)

Art of Trance - Chung Kou (Orkidea remix) is a good example

plus some slower tracks on JOOF from Stardesign ("Deeptest"), M Waering, Afterbyte or even Oliver Prime and Vibrasphere for the pacier ones and closer to psy. "Autumn Lights" simply has to be considered the best trance track of 2008.

I'd also add Orkidea, Miika Kuisma, The Beetseekers, Breakfast and even some Anjunadeep releases to the list.

Excellent post! I will check them out. Vibrasphere I already heard, they make excellent music but I prefer stuff that is faster and more powerful. If you think of any more that is faster and more powerful and melodic don't hesitate to post!

(the one who wrote "radio edits", you are obviously retarded, lol.)

IMO

Fictivision Vs. Phynn - Escape (Phynn Mix)
Transa - Transtar
Bedrock - Heaven Scent
Re:Locate - Typhoon
Re:Locate - Jetstream (feat. Thomas Bronzwaer)
B&W - Mistaken (Fictivision Mix)
Tilt - Twelve (Orkidea Remix)
Stenna - Skyline (Arizona Mix)

Pretty much, those songs release the tension of a bassline and kick drum for just a short enough period to not cause your arms to wilt from holding them up for so long, but are ultimately suspenseful to make for a great time.

No problem, so I believe you're after tracks that at 140BPM or faster.

If so, my picks are:
Solar Fields - "EarthShine"
Blue Planet Corporation - "A Blueprint for Survival"
Jaia - "Fiction"
+ tracks by Whirloop, 00.db (i.e. "Pro 1"), older Protoculture stuff and the whole Platipus imprint starting with Terra Ferma.

Some of them may be a bit off the mark. I haven't listened to trance regularily for past 3 years.
