I think tiesto said it best on his website: "tech trance has the melody of trance but the drive as a techno record." Lethal Industry, The Mutalisk, tunes like that are what im thinking of. Anyone know of any other good tech-trance tunes (or sets)?

i define it as anything darker sounding (progressive for eg.) but with added tek/electronic effects. Force Mass Motion fit this perfectly and the prime example is one of my all time favs:

I personally would never think of lethal industry as tech-trance
when I think of tech-trance I think of trancey beat elements without melody and has the same repetitiveness as techno

Oliver Klein is a perfect example.

I could be wrong though
