Tough call! The thought of selling out will always be in your mind. If the guy is gonna tear your song down to a shit pop song just make sure that although you produced the skeleton of it that your name isn't publicly attached. Know what I mean? If it'll help you to purchase better equipment and make even better trance then that becomes a greater benefit.

I wouldn't really say you're selling out if you allow someone else to remix your song. In fact, if the remix becomes popular, people that may not have heard the original may take a listen. I say go for it with a clear conscience.

i dont think you should think of it as selling out
you will still have your original work, plus you will have money to buy new equipment to enhance your music/talent and make even better music... anyway, thats my 3 cents
