the man, the legend, R.I.P, possibly the greatest dance-music producer of all time. shem mcauley AKA slacker.

this guy produced the best, trippiest, and most pure "EDM" out there. murky, twisted, pulsating, spiritual... fucking awesome.

if all subsequent music was retrospectively compared to his productions, 99% of them would be put to shame.

has there been a producer that has since come close?

So many good tracks from slacker its nuts.

Slacker was obviously brilliant, and Scared in particular is one of the most important progressive house records ever made, but I would never call his music "trippy". It was just fantastic big-room club music.
