Meh, it's not a bad track by any means, but meh, it's just meh.

sounds like it was made for those audio libraries for low budget movies where say the scene requires "Rave techno" and you look up rave+techno and you get a few generic things that aren't techno but understand what techno means to most people that are over 50.

I actually do think 'Gull' is one of the greatest trance tunes of all time, it's one of my favourites. I'm not sure I'd quite call this remix 'fantastic,' however. It's good, though, and I'd love to hear it out.
