Orbital - Lush (Salt Tank's Guitar Mix)

I just got this very old Salt Tank remix recorded on December 1993 and only ever released on the "Head Straight For The Salt Tank Mix" CD and I really like it. It's beautiful and very relaxing, a bit like the original versions of "Eugina".

Anyone else heard this beauty?

Are you on the EMC Hub Sand Leaper?
I'm sharing it on there.

Only Salt Tank track I really need now is "Skyline", absolutely gorgeous track almost on par with "Eugina" which is saying something and it's so hard to find these days.

I haven't heard the original version and it's not the version that most people have heard. It was only ever released on this release in 1994 and I guess it's pretty rare:

ST3: LIECD11/LIARX11 (Released 1994)
Eugina (Pacific Diva) [9:39]
Sargasso Sea [7:25] - Mixed by Astralasia
Charged Up [4:55]
Clone [7:29]
Eugina (Waimea Wilderness) [6:08]
Charged in Zion Canyon [8:23] - Remixed by Zion Train
Eugina (Original) [6:47]
Eugina (col d'aubisque) [9:50] (Only on 12")

The version which inspired the remixes and that most people know is the Pacific Diva one which was played by Paul Oakenfold back in 1994. It's a true classic and sounded way ahead of it's time back then.

The Sargasso Sea and Waimea Wilderness versions are both beautiful ambient versions of the track.

all the "original" mixes of eugina/pacific diva were good. much better than the uninspired 4/4 thumpers released a couple of years ago.

(edit: oops, sorry, i haven't heard the "original mix" that is listed above ... but all the other mixes are good).

pacific diva sounds a bit like new order doing "techno".
