Do you remember Platipus Records when they had great classics like Union Jack - 2 Full Moons and a Trout, Quietman - Now and Zen, and of course Loveclub - The Journey?
I stopped buying them at Volume 4 cuz that one just sucked...! Repetitive and bland.
Now it seems like they fell off the face of the earth? If they have come out with any new stuff, is it any good?

they're still kickin'
how about Moogwai - Labyrinth or Praha presents Pachinko? both great tracks. they're putting out great progressive trance. they have new releases every other week it seems.
I had no idea these tracks were Platipus releases! Man I need to go to the record store again and quit downloading livesets for a minute LOL !

Platipus was releasing an album with all the newest releases, some great stuff, including the Moogwai, as well there was some kind of DJ mix of platipus remixes or something that was scheduled to come out this summer , if it hasent allready done so .

moogwai is awesome but pachinko is a piece'a junko. i like air 2000, nice ferry remix and swimmer remix.
they're definitely more prog, which is unfortunate (imho) but there's some decent stuff 4 sure

It is really disappointing how Platipus decided to change it style ... they sound so formulaic-progressive now, unlike the twisted acid (not as in 303-acid ... like trippy acid) trance ... I own several of their old releases on vinyl (2 Full Moons and Pollenflug being my favourites at the moment). To be honest, I seriously don't consider the old Platipus and the new Platipus to be the same label anymore ... even they are obviously to get away from their old image - why else would they change their sleeve design ... I really like their old design.
Platipus rocks. Hence my tag. They got me into electronic music, plus they were my first rave (destiny 31) absolutely amazing. Terra ferma just released a new cd about 4 months ago and Art of trance is constantly releasing new cds.
