"Close, but no cigar" is an old saying from the 20th century that means to "Fall just short of a successful outcome and get nothing for your efforts." I got that from google.



I wish I can speak highly about this track, but the snare is annoying

clearly, my thread gets no cigar for its effort to provoke a discussion. I must be passed my prime when it comes to making threads.

I was only uncertain what the track was close to as to desreve a cigar.

leftfield - original is one of the most downright overrated tracks in electronic music of the 90's. they could've used a male vocalist for the track because she really didn't articulate herself that well. this is one of their poor productions in their catalogue.
