So my gf asked me to do a mix where in the beginning is music that makes you feel like your in heaven/paradise and then it mixes to a darker music and it's suppose to make you think about hell.

So what kind of tunes are there that makes you think about heaven/paradise (maybe something with not so hard bass line)? For the hell part i will but something like terror core or something like that...

put some good mellowuplifting stuff in the beginning like Seven Cities, 29 Palms - Touch the Sky, in the middle put Marco V - GODD, and at the end stuff some dark trance, Like Green Martian - Industry, Oliver Lieb - Subsonik...
etc. go with what feelings you associate with each tune!

can't belive iam saying this........but i like dj sammy tunes, they always put me in a happy mood!!!

For the heaven part I would use a lot of strings and vocals, like some Rank 1 songs and remixes. Try some Guardians of the Earth too.
I can't think of too many trance songs that would be like hell, maybe some harder Hard House or some evil DnB. You could try DJ Darkzone - Watching you...
