Erm...

If you want to hear what it was like before, pitch it up.

I've heard people complaining about this but I've no clue what they're on about. The only difference as far as I can tell is a slight hint of vocals in two spots. Live rips always end up sounding a bit different than the real thing...

I've piched it up, sounds worse
the synth somehow sounds weaker, there's also an extra breakdown 1:27 into the track, that isn't in the love I lost, theres a solid beat all the way up until the first breakdown (which is the second breakdown in connected)
it's just poo

I agree the song structure is less than ideal (it could easily be two minutes longer, for one thing) but I can't agree about the synth. I believe it can only be attributed to sound quality of radio vs. vinyl. I only insist because I've been the biggest East West fan for the past year or so and was quite pleased with this release. But oh well, just my opinion.

you right man...that version sucks, its so upset that we wait for that tune to come up on a vinyl for almost 2 years and finally what we get is a track that is damn weaker than the real thing...
fuck...now we never have this on 12" [unless anyone volunteer to steal it from him ]

anyway...im fucking upset about it and im really want to get ferrys comment about this issue,
i know theres an interview coming up on trance.nu , there we can ask our questions to ferry..so guys ! go there and express this issue..
tell him to release east west on TSUNAMI or something.. cause this remix he made for ayu is fucking destroying what east west all about!

Yeah,he toned down the synths. It's definitely audible. We can only assume that Ferry thought it was too good for the rest of the world to get its grubby paws on it.What a shame

I completely agree, the synths were toned down bigtime and the track lost all the power it used to have. I deleted it right after hearing it I was so disappointed in it. I'm gonna have to check out the Push mixes to see if they do any justice.
