How are the hotel prices in comparison to last year?

Flights should be cheaper.

IMO there's no doubt WMC will be hurt by the economy, considering that everything is being effected by the economy.

flights to Miami seem to be cheaper....to FLL seem about the same........hotels look about the same

Agreed. I don't see the area really conforming to the circumstances of today's struggling economy, especially during WMC. If anything, businesses could see this week as a way of "making up" for money lost during other times. They know people will be there regardless of the economic situation.
