A*S*Y*S* - No More ****in Rock & Roll and Storm & Thunder

Since the thread without any decent info was deleted it seems, i'll put some up

No More Fuckin Rock & Roll is possibly stronger than the remix of Conciousand that's a mean feat with guitars, acid, hard beats, a mint breakdown, and a track that reminds me of voodoo people by the prodigy big time, but in a good way. Same Vocoded setting as 'So fucking concious' and again serves great purpose, really amazing stuff for harder fans - 10/10

Storm & Thunder

Not quite as good as the previous track, but a hefty acid bassline about 1:28 in helps no end, sounds like something you'd mix into Derb - Attack well. Another mint acid 303 line and pounding kicks, 9/10 only cos as amazing as it is, the other side is slightly stronger imo

No More Fuckin Rock & Roll is massive .. brilliant remake of voodoo people, kinda like it should have sounded
the only cool thing about Storm & Thunder imo is the 303 .. reminds me of higher state of conciousness
sweet stuff

Damn Voodoo People was a massive track for years. This remake brings it back harder than ever. 9/10 fantastic!

I prefer original version by prodigy (so far) , and I don't like very much that remake.

Haven't heard b-side yet...

The Voodoo People-references on the a-side just doesn't work IMO. Storm & Thunder on the other hand kicks major ass, harsh metallic soundscape with edgy synthwork and pummeling basses, just how I like it.

what a crap ripoff of voodoo people! yuck! horrible just plain horrible.
i love the original voodoo people but this doesn't work at all and none of the remixes of voodoo people that i've heard work either. blah!
the b-side was much better, but nothing too special there either.

Two brilliant tracks....

"No more fucking Rock'N'Roll" sounds like "Voodoo People" should have sounded from the beginning....at least in my opinion. 8.5/10

"Storm & Thunder"....I just love this track because of it´s killer bass....turn up the volume and wait till it reaches the 1:30 min mark...here we go! 9/10

Both are great tracks and sound amazing at clubs.. but Storm and Thunder is my favourite out of the two.
