Nothing but marketers and promoters at this point. I can sniff them out with their fucking all caps and {}[] *** &&& syntax.
Was good while it lasted.

I was under the impression that it had always been like that
Does the sub-forum even have an active mod? Maybe they should consider cleaning it up...accounts with the sole purpose of spamming releases that likely don't even have "real people" involved with an interest in discussing what they're promoting shouldn't have the privilege of posting in here...
Then again, how else should it go in here?

Kind of agree, a lot of users here who are tied with labels are making threads here that never gets any replies. On the other hand I did find a track I liked the other day by one of those threads. The only releases that get any replies are from Culprit it seems.

Some other threads will randomly draw out some decent discussion - the recent isolee release, for instance.

Actually it's been going to shit since before you joined. It has highlights but not as many as previously where it was easy to find a good discussion, blame it on the quantity as well as quality of releases.

OHHHH let me regail you with stories from another time. When it was west coast vs. everyone else, and goly-goddamit, that new track from that guy with a moustache was a good track or at least they were going to convince everyone so. Golden Days IMO.

It's been like this as long as I can remember. Last couple of threads I've made in here got 40ish replies, so people still read it. I still come in here, I just ignore the spam.
If you enjoy any of these sets and want to hear me live, I'll be playing a 2 hour progressive trance set at Basing House in Shoreditch, London on 11th October.
I'm also a resident at our bi-monthly party Kibosh in Manchester: https://www.instagram.com/kibosh.mcr/
