What day do we get extra money... sunday or monday?
for the long weekend, since july 1 is sunday, which day do we get paid overtime for?

Seriuos eh? I'd get time & half on sunday and monday..
Hell, at my old job, i'd get paid 1.5 for working, plus time for the holiday...so 2.5 times in total!
Xmas day was the best, somehow i ended up getting 3.5 times for working from 12pm-4pm...definitely the easiest money i've ever made

July 1 is an unmovable statutory holiday, this is to say that JULY 1 is observed on July 1 and only July 1. Your statutory holiday pay will be for July 1. Monday is not a statutory holiday.
