it would do fine
im not really an expert on vid cards but in the radeon series its goes up like this, 9000, 9200, 9600, 9800
and then theres like 9000se, 9600xt (which i think is almost like the 9800), then there are also All in wonder cards.
go to a tech forum and ask around there.

I ran Doom3 and Half-Life 2 on a Radeon 9000 Pro 128MB that is probably 2 years old now. Perfectly fine at 1280x1024 with graphics options mostly medium, some low.
Get a 9800 if you can afford it/find one that cheap.

One quick question:
Is there a huge difference in the 9800SE 128M DDR TV/O and the Radeon 9800 Pro 128MB as far as performance goes?
I'm pretty decided on the Radeon 9800 but it's just that the pro is another 70 bucks, unless of course there is a cheaper place to grab it (cheaper than 300 bucks)
