Hey! Nice to see some new Local work
I like the atmosphere that the track starts off with, but I was really put off with the bass patterning / instrumentation. I see the idea you were shooting for, but it tends to overpower the tune and not carry it really.
I like the synths being used, and the effecting as well. The levels seem to be alright, but unless there's a specific part of the track you're calling attention to (the epic break, a pad, etc etc) to use an atmospheric effect like a chime sweep or bass drop without something else like a pad or sublayer to take its place leaves me wondering where it went, and disturbs the flow..
The last thing I might suggest is layering.. Although I liked the synths, I wasn't hearing a whole lot of difference in the extended (main) sequences.. Switch it up a bit, keep us guessing and keep us wanting more.
PROS:
+ Diggin' the Synths / Instrumentation
+ Atmospherics = good though sparse
+ Solid Lead Melody
+ Good Levels (Except for on the Kick)
CONS:
- Long sequences, little changes
- Bass just seems kinda strange
- Feels like it's going to build to something massive.. But doesn't really blow up.
All in all, not bad. With a little tweakage, you could have some fantastic stuff here.
Best of Luck!

I'll agree with the concensus here - nice song, but still lacking.
- Definitely get rid of that bass drop sound. As jer said, just interrupts the flow, and it seems to be stuck in the most random parts of the song. At least move it to the background.
- I don't really like that repetitive beat/noise (sorry if I don't know the technical names for all this stuff) that comes on at 1:23, dissapears, and then returns later on. Just seems out of place. It works as an introduction to something, but doesn't really work as a tool to keep the rhythm.
- Also agree that there should have been some major climax around 4:30 or even 5:00, but it just never came. (Damn you LKD for sending me to that pornAddict site)
- Sounds very very Trancey. If someone asked to give me the best example of what a Trance song is like, this would be an excellent example. Maybe that's what you were going for, but it sounds a bit too generic for me.
- Reminded me of Final Fantasy games for some reason.
- Love that main synth. You could do great things with it.
