I think it would be a good idea if we had an email alert that comes whenever a particular artist of your choice is coming to toronto.
i would have seen chris liebing had we had this feature.

you could just add the artist on myspace, then when they have an event it emails you, although you would get all the events for countries that you have no likelihood of visiting too. given that there are uncountably many artists it would be impossible for someone to implement a fully comprehensive master database organised by artist, it can therefore best be done by events that are actually confirmed, hence the events listing. it would be useful if the events listing page were to email all TOTAs when the event is coming up, i'm not sure if this feature is available as i've never investigated it. even then it's flawed since not all promoters will necessarily use TA.

check in regularly, perhaps?
a suggestion that would clean things up around here (and I've seen it suggested many times), is group all "reviews" and "roll calls" in seperate pages similar to the "events" section...right now it's not that bad. There only 5 threads on the first tota page. Normmaly it's %25 roll calls and reviews.
...not that doing this will really help much. The other %75 is garbage anyways. It would just make it %100 doo doo butter.
a good slogan if that ever happens. "TOTA. Now %100 doo doo buuter and roll call/review thread free!"

Perhaps I'm just OCD, but I tend to check the upcoming events forum on here / tribe / om forums a few times a week.

Unless you felt distress or anxiety if you didn't check the events, then you're not OCD. Just ghey.

good in theory, but how does the person know if the promoter will ever get around to posting the event? Not all promoters post on TA. But for major events like LOL, I agree.
