it was basically this rave headlined by JELO held at the Harbourfront Centre on the closing weekend of Luminato. It was shut down cuz apparently HTO never obtained a license for it despite granting approval to Newsoundspace (the promoters) access to hold the event. Cops shut it down about 20-30 mins early. Kinda reminds me of the fallout from that Don Jail party, i.e. venue management allowing events to be held without first obtaining a license..

anyways, long story short it was really fun and a great event. Just a pity that there doesn't seem to be anything similar going on this time around..
