Wow! Such a good party. For those who missed out, you should DEFINITELY check out the next one.

We got to Keating Pub around 3pm or so and didn't realize how close it was. Not too many ppl there yet, but the weather was gorgeous and the patio was awesome right on the canal.

The tunes were bumpin' and got to the point where we just couldn't sit anymore and that was the end of it. Within an hour or so it really started to pick up and stayed that way for the entire night. Everyone dancing and having a good time. The music was stellar from start to finish. The live sax was so good. I can't believe they'd never rehearsed.

The next time these guys through a party, if you're into Chicago house, or even if you're not, this was a great party to throw back a few beers, enjoy the sun and dance by the water.

Got there late around 10ish and the tunes were bumpin'. I swear I saw Cribby stop by for a bit then bounce. This is an awesome venue with a great city skyline view. By the canal, no cover, and plenty of booze avail. Definitely 'the spot' for the summer imo.

Damn I missed you. Cribby came with us. We were there from about 3 to 11 or so.

Really glad you liked the event guys! We really enjoyed it too. The best reward from throwing these kinds of events is seeing so many happy people enjoying the day/night, and we couldn't ask for anything better than what we had yesterday.

Speaking of Sunday then, you'll probably be interested to know that the entire days' sets were recorded. Pending the thumbs up from the djs themselves, I'll get the sets online for you to enjoy and relive the day in audio format. I also have some pics on my facebook, but i'll see about posting them as well.


Onto future events then... We'll be doing the same sort of afternoon and evening parties at Keating Channel Pub throughout the summer, every time there's a stat holiday. Usually that'll mean the Sunday of the long weekend(so you have Monday to recover!). But we're also doing one on Canada Day(more on this below).

And just so everyone knows the dealio, every party we do at Keating Channel Pub will:
- be free
- be outdoors by the boardwalk(unless its super rainy, and then we just move inside)
- go for 12 hours or more
- feature some of the best house djs in the city
- usually have at least one out of town guest dj


So the next one up is Canada Day and it's a little special. For this one our guest dj will be Hector Moralez. For those you who are unfamiliar with him, along with running his own label and having a long production record on his own, he's one half of Fries & Bridges(along with Phil Weeks). Fries & Bridges had THE funky house track of the Miami Music Conference, called "Forever This".

Had a stellar time!! Probably one of the better outdoor events I've been to in Toronto. Lots of drunken smiling fun.. and the sax!! So saxy!! I love sax <3

Looking forward to the next time. I hope the word spreads about these parties, not that it needs to b/c it was packed, but of course it's always fun to have more friends there. Such a fun fun FUN time. I can't get over how fun that was!!
