Also, you better think about the monopole. If I remember correctly, you have that bigger camera that has that mic/handle at the top? If so, then it prob will be to heavy to handle. Even with the small camera I have I notice (due to leverage) it feels heavy. Your camera is easily 3 to 4 times larger than mine. It's up to you of course.
I don't know about you, but this is basically a hobby for me so I'm not constrained by time as you might be. My videos take me 2 or more weeks to do just because I have no time due to my day job. Also, probably unlike you, I don't have the chance to do that many videos or go to many events for the same reason... the day job. |
YES!!!! Sony Veges 10 , we use the same program, the flashy effects at the beginning and ending (sometimes in between transitions) my bro handles Adobe After Effects. I thought you would be into final cut pro, nothing against FCP but when the enthusiast only believe that editing should be done on that program alone and nothing else, it gets kinda annoying.
As for a mono pole for my camera I still plan to get one but I wouldn't raise it nearly as high as you did with your cam, I mainly would get one for more of a steady cam.
Dance Space Entertainment is pretty much a hobby for me as well as I also work full time, but over the last year we have been getting more video work outside of the "Underground dance community". So to not fall behind on projects, dissatisfy our investing clients and still help the "Underground dance community" market their events, is why our strategy is the "pump it out quick" motto. Also having a twin brother involved takes a lot of weight off as well.
Definitely would like to see if we can do a colab in the near future, working with the same editing software makes it that much easier.
