Anyone watching Homeland?

Almost finished season one. Getting really hooked.

Writing is not as good as Dexter or SoA, but still enjoyable. Still debating whether I like Claire Danes's sketchy schizo character... But the milfs are nice...

Breaking Bad, Boss, Homeland. Best three shows on TV right now.

Claire Danes is perfect for that role cuz she has crazy eyes.

Great show. Claire Danes and Damian Lewis were the perfect choice for the roles, imo.

Still doesn't beat Boardwalk Empire for me though; must be my hard-on for crime drama's. Monday evening when I get back from class are amazing for me, since that's when I watch both new episodes from the night before

*edit: If you guys watch/watched Stargate SG-1, you'll notice that a few characters in Homeland starred in the Stargate series'. First of all is the obvious one, Moreena Baccarin (she was Adria in the tv series). And the dude in the CIA situation room who was coordinating the assasinations, was Tommen (the Ori ground troops commander, wife of Vala).

I just thought it was interesting

If you like Boardwalk check out Magic City. Took a bit to get its legs but I like it now. Beautiful visual presentation. I literally "wow" out loud at some of the shots.

Homeland season 2 is pretty intense. I almost didn't even enter this thread because I thought you would be talking about last night's episode.

Gonna go DL it now...

My Sunday nights are full of TV that I don't watch till the next day or two. Was Breaking Bad, Boardwalk Empire, Walking Dead, and now Homeland.

I've never done the Dexter thing yet.

We should have a Boardwalk thread however... And a Walking Dead thread.

Maybe a TV section.

Finished season one.

I found the pacing of the firs two episodes to be really good, but then it dragged a little till the end. But, its still good writing, and they are very interesting characters.

Sgt Brodie's development has been very good. Finding out that he is actually British was quite the trip, but just shows how good of an actor he is.

I'm not a huge fan of skreeky, crazy female characters, because its usually very hard to pull off, without being annoying. Danes' does a pretty good job, but for me, it is just on the edge of annoying.

I wish the wife had not cut her hair....so hot.

SOOO HOT!!! And I agree, Dane's character is annoying, but I think that is what makes Danes such a great actress in this role, she makes you feel sympathy and despise her at the same time. It's like she's strung out... which she is I guess in a sense.

About to watch last night's episode now, when can we start discussing?! Ie. be a spoiler thread lol

If you guys start talking spoilers, I'll see you in the new year. I only watch shows like this, seasons at a time, back to back to back.

I can't wait a week between episodes.

I dunno how you can have TV threads without spoilers unless you want boring
