For those who went, how was the new life party last weekend?
i'm just wondering if i missed another amazing event by the phlux crew.

I thought it was great, another great party by phlux in my opinion. I had been wanting to see Paladin for a while, and Space Girl played an awesome set! and of course DJ Funk was so sweet! The venue was awesome too, the convention center is a perfect place for it. The two stages were back to back and there was no real mix of the music from either side it was amazing. Jon Debo and Chris Fortier played two great sets. Im just upset I missed the pre-party and post party I wanted to see Viceroy spin!

it was ok.. not as good as I expected..Space girl was awesome though. i am kindof disappointed with the crowd.. not enough people... too much space.. but well i am looking forward for the Groove Attrack 3.0 in sept

The party was awesome....I had a blast. I did it all on about 1 hour of sleep the whole weekend too...hehe, I am nuts! Spacegirl was playing hard as hell trance, it was cool though, I just kept staring at her because she was sot gorgeous. I didn't get a chance to hear Debo or Fortier because I was running around doing stuff for their sets. I have to give respect though to Frankie Bones, even though I am a trancehead his set was sick. The sound in the house room was crunching!...his set sounded so good. When I walked by the front of the stage by the speakers I almost got knocked over by the force of the bass....sweeeeeet!


True, we didn't get the turnout we had hoped for, but we are glad that everyone there did have a good time. Be on the lookout for a major surprise for Groove Attack 3

I had an AMAZING time as this party!!!


the lighting/lazer, decorations, sound system were superb! by far the best soundsystem i've ever djed on!

I got to the trance room about 45 minutes into Chris Fortier's set and unfortunately the crowd was not responding very well to his music. Actually the trance room looked more like a chillout room at the time. He appeared to be quite dismayed at the lack of energy towards his music and asked me to dj right away cause he wanted to leave.

Luckily within half hour i was able to get the energy level back up and the trance room started to fill. The crowd response was phenomenal and everybody jumped/danced their asses off!! it's always an AMAZING feeling when you share your passion for trance with a large crowd and they give the love right back to you!!!!


All in all it was a wonderful experience and a great time!


My only pet peeve was being stopped at the border and searched for 45 minutes!!! thank goodness we left Toronto a bit early =:0)
