Christ, we don't even have polyphonic phones or any major SMS marketing companies (and I know because the company I founded has be dying to get into SMS marketing but the market is DEAD!).

the Motorola C333 has polyphonic ringtones and it one of the more "popular" phones right now offered through Rogers GSM. And the SE T600 also has polyphonic phones too. One of the reasons why SMS hasn't really caught on here is the cost for sending messages and the late coming of intercarrier messaging. Many other countries only charge no more than 5 cents per message whereas here it's 10 cents.
